Baros Island

Baros is a small island in Male Atholhu, within the administrative Kaafu Atoll, Maldives. It has an area of about 4.50 hectares and is located at approximately 4°17′05″N, 73°25′38″E. The island has a compact North Malé Atoll setting with sandy shoreline, lagoon waters, tropical vegetation, and nearby reef surroundings. It is approximately 15 km from Velana International Airport by straight-line distance.
