Resort policy summary. Standard check-in time is from 14:00 and check-out is by 12:00 noon. Guests are required to present a valid passport and payment card upon arrival.
Transfers. Round-trip speedboat transfers between Velana International Airport and the resort are mandatory and charged in addition to the room rate. Transfer schedules are coordinated with international flight arrivals and departures and are subject to weather and sea conditions.
Taxes & fees. A compulsory Maldives Green Tax (currently USD 12.00 per person per night) applies in addition to the room rate and is collected in accordance with Maldivian law. Service charge and GST are included in the published room rates unless otherwise stated.
Local regulations. Importing alcohol into the Maldives is prohibited by law. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase only on licensed resort islands. Guests must comply with all local laws and resort guidelines during their stay.
Cancellation
Cancellation & prepayment. Cancellation and prepayment policies vary depending on villa category, travel dates and the rate plan selected. Some promotional rates may be non-refundable, while flexible rates may allow cancellation without penalty before a stated deadline. Always refer to your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation terms that apply to your reservation.
Children and extra beds
Children & extra beds. Children of all ages are welcome. Infant cots may be available on request, subject to availability. Extra beds for older children or adults may be available in selected villa categories, subject to maximum occupancy limits and additional charges.
Transfer fees and green tax for children follow the resort’s prevailing child policy and may vary by age band and season.

The property may pre-authorise your card before arrival and the same card used to guarantee the booking is typically requested at check-in. Special check-in instructions
Arrival & transfers. OBLU Xperience Ailafushi is located in North Malé Atoll and is reached by speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport (Malé), typically taking around 15–20 minutes. Guests must provide full international flight details to the resort in advance so that transfer schedules can be arranged accordingly.
Check-in requirements. A valid government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card may be required at check-in for verification and incidental charges. Special requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Fees
Taxes & service charges: Stays in the Maldives are subject to a 10% service charge and Tourism Goods & Services Tax (TGST). For tourism services such as accommodation, meal plans, transfers and most extras, TGST is currently 17% following the nationwide increase effective in 2025. Unless clearly stated as inclusive or net, service charge and TGST are added to your final bill.
Green Tax: The Maldives levies a Green Tax on overnight guests at resorts and tourist vessels. The current rate is USD 12 per person per night for guests aged 2 years and above; children under 2 years are exempt. Green Tax is collected by the resort and applies to each payable night of your stay.
Mandatory transfers: OBLU Xperience Ailafushi is accessed by speedboat from Velana International Airport. Roundtrip shared speedboat transfers are compulsory and charged per person; exact rates depend on season and offer and will be confirmed on your quotation.
Optional extras
Optional extras: Although the resort operates on an all-inclusive concept, additional charges may apply for premium-brand beverages, specialty dining experiences, spa treatments, certain motorised water sports, private excursions, romantic dinners, photo services, laundry and other personalised services. Any service not specifically listed as included in your confirmed package will normally be charged as an extra by the resort.
Private transfers & upgrades: Private speedboat transfers, room-category upgrades, and special occasion setups may be arranged on request and are charged separately, subject to availability.

Traveller Declaration: All international travelers must complete the Maldives Traveller Declaration (IMUGA) online within 96 hours before arrival. A valid passport and proof of onward travel are required for entry.
Family & safety note: As with most Maldivian resorts, overwater areas, open decks and direct lagoon access require supervision of children at all times.
