Transfers: The resort is accessible by seaplane from Malé. Indicative shared seaplane charges (subject to change): Adult USD 490; Child 2–11 USD 295 per person, round‑trip. Selected promotions may include complimentary seaplane transfers when staying 7 nights (blackout dates apply). Festive stays typically feature mandatory gala dinners (additional charges apply).
Taxes & fees: Green Tax USD 12 per person, per night (children under 2 at check‑in are exempt from 1 Jan 2025). Tourism GST (TGST) is 17% where the time of supply occurs on or after 1 Jul 2025. For privacy & safety, the resort does not permit drones.

Children and extra beds
Children of any age are welcome. To see correct prices and occupancy, include the number and ages of children in your booking.
Extra bed for guests 15+ years on request: USD 360 per person per night. Numbers of cots/extra beds depend on room type and are subject to availability; charges are paid during the stay.

Special check-in instructions
Please share your flight details in advance so resort seaplane transfers can be arranged. The island is reached by shared or private seaplane from Malé; services operate during daylight hours and typical flight time is about 40–45 minutes.
Fixed schedules may result in waiting times at the airport lounge. At check‑in, present a government‑issued photo ID and the same payment card used to guarantee the reservation for verification.
Important information
Fees
Taxes and service charges. A 10% service charge applies together with Tourism GST (TGST) of 16% until 30 June 2025, increasing to 17% for supplies where the time of supply is on or after 1 July 2025, plus a Green Tax of USD 12 per person per night.
Green Tax exemption. Children under two years are exempt from Green Tax from 1 January 2025.
Transfers. Resort‑arranged shared seaplane transfers are chargeable at approximately USD 490 per adult (12+) and USD 295 per child (2–11.99) for a round trip. A private seaplane option is available at around USD 8,890 net per way. Final pricing and inclusions are confirmed by the resort for your dates.
Optional extras
Spa & wellness. Treatments at The Spa by Thalgo include facials, massages, Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and are chargeable with prevailing taxes and service charge.
Activities & dining. Diving, water sports, excursions and private dining experiences are offered on an à la carte basis and billed as used.
You need to know
Check‑in / Check‑out. Check‑in is from 14:00 and check‑out is by 12:00.
Seaplane operations. Seaplanes operate during daylight hours approximately 06:00–16:00 with a latest check‑in of 15:30. Standard baggage allowance is 20 kg checked plus 5 kg hand luggage per person and excess is charged by the operator. Guests arriving outside operating hours are advised to overnight in Malé or Hulhumalé.
Transfer arrangements. It is mandatory to arrange transfers through the resort and to provide flight details in advance. Seaplane fees are typically settled at check‑out.
Pets. Pets are not allowed.
We should mention
No‑drone policy. Operation of drones is prohibited on or above the resort unless explicitly authorised by management.
Alternatives for late arrivals. For late‑night flights the resort may arrange a domestic flight to Maafaru followed by a 15‑minute speedboat transfer, subject to schedules and weather.
Meet & greet. A Sun Siyam representative meets guests on arrival at Velana International Airport and escorts them to the lounge before the seaplane departs.
