Resort policy summary. V Villas Maldives at Mirihi – MGallery Collection is a private‑island, all‑villa resort reachable only by seaplane. Standard check‑in time is from 14:00 and check‑out is by 12:00 noon. A valid passport and credit or debit card are usually required on arrival for verification and to secure any incidental charges during your stay.
Transfers. All guests travel between Malé and the resort by seaplane operated during daylight hours only. Flight schedules, baggage allowances and fares are set by the seaplane operator and may change without notice. Guests must send their international flight details to the resort well in advance so that transfer arrangements can be confirmed. Missed or changed flights may result in additional transfer fees or an overnight stay in Malé.
Payments & guarantees. The resort accepts major credit cards and cash. Depending on the rate booked, a deposit or full prepayment may be taken before arrival. The property may also place a temporary hold on your card at check‑in to cover extras. Where bookings are guaranteed with a card, the cardholder may be contacted for verification.
Local regulations. In line with Maldivian law, it is not permitted to bring alcoholic beverages into the country; any alcohol carried in luggage is normally held by customs and returned on departure. Alcoholic drinks are available for purchase only on licensed resort islands. Smoking and tobacco use are regulated nationally and may be restricted to designated outdoor areas; guests are expected to follow all local and resort guidelines.
Cancellation
Cancellation. Cancellation and prepayment conditions vary by villa category, travel dates and the offer selected. Some rates are fully flexible while others may be non‑refundable or require prepayment. Always check the exact rate conditions shown at the time of booking and on your confirmation, as these will set out any deadlines for free cancellation, prepayment schedules and applicable penalties.
Children and extra beds
Children & extra beds. Children of all ages are welcome at the resort. Infant cots and extra beds for older children, teenagers or adults may be available on request, subject to availability and the maximum occupancy of each villa type. Supplements for extra guests, cots or extra beds are usually charged separately during the stay and are not automatically included in the total room rate.

Transfers. V Villas Maldives at Mirihi can only be reached by seaplane from Malé. Seaplane transfers operate during daylight hours; to secure a same‑day transfer, international flights typically need to arrive in Malé between about 06:00 and 15:30. Guests must provide full flight details to the resort in advance so that transfer schedules and baggage allowances can be confirmed. All transfers are payable in addition to the room rate and are operated subject to weather and local aviation regulations.
Important information
Fees
Taxes & service charges: All stays in the Maldives are subject to a 10% service charge and Tourism Goods & Services Tax (TGST). For tourism services such as accommodation, meals, transfers and most extras, TGST is currently 17% following the nationwide increase that took effect in 2025. Unless clearly stated as “net” or “inclusive”, prices shown for this resort are usually before service charge and TGST, which will be added to your final bill.
Green Tax (Maldives environmental tax): In addition to TGST and service charge, the Maldives levies a Green Tax on overnight guests. At resorts and safari vessels this is currently USD 12 per person per night for guests aged 2 years and above; children under 2 years are exempt. Green Tax is collected by the resort at check‑out and applies to every payable night of your stay, including bonus or offer nights unless a promotion says otherwise.
Resort‑specific mandatory fees (V Villas Maldives at Mirihi – MGallery Collection): The resort may charge compulsory roundtrip seaplane transfers from Malé (about 30 minutes each way) and seasonal festive supplements in addition to your room rate. Recent examples include return seaplane transfers of around USD 614 per adult and USD 307 per child (2–11 years) and compulsory Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve gala dinners with per‑person supplements for adults and children. Exact amounts, dates and inclusions change from year to year and will be confirmed on your quotation and booking confirmation; all such charges are typically subject to the same 10% service charge, TGST and Green Tax rules as other services at the resort.
Optional extras
Optional extras at the resort: Depending on your meal plan or package, additional charges are usually payable for à la carte dining, premium wines and spirits, in‑villa dining, private dinners, spa treatments, diving, motorised water sports, private boat excursions, photo or drone services (where permitted), laundry, babysitting and other personalised experiences. Some offers bundle certain activities or credits (for example snorkeling trips or spa discounts); anything not specifically listed as included in your confirmation will normally be charged as an extra by the resort.
Transfers & festive events as extras: If your contract or offer does not explicitly include seaplane transfers or festive gala dinners, these will be added to your bill by the resort at the prevailing resort rates. 960Maldives will always clarify in your quotation whether return seaplane transfers and any Christmas / New Year supplements are included or payable locally so there are no surprises on departure.

Getting there & seaplane requirements: V Villas Maldives at Mirihi is reached by a scenic seaplane flight from Velana International Airport (Malé), taking approximately 30 minutes. Guests must travel to the island by floatplane arranged through the resort; direct speedboat transfers from Malé are not available. Seaplane services operate only during daylight hours. To guarantee same‑day arrival and departure, international flights should normally land in Malé between about 06:00 and 15:15, and depart after about 09:00; the resort and seaplane operator will confirm exact cut‑off times when your flights are known.
Transfer arrangements & baggage: To secure your seaplane seats, the resort requires your international flight details, full names as per passports and (if applicable) details of any overnight stay in Malé at least 3–4 days before arrival. Standard seaplane baggage allowance is typically 20 kg of checked luggage plus 5 kg hand luggage per paying guest; excess baggage is subject to additional charges payable directly to the seaplane airline at check‑in. Oversized or special items (for example diving gear or camera equipment) should be pre‑advised.
