Veligandu Island

Veligandu, Kaafu Atoll, officially listed as Veligan’duhuraa, is a small island in Male Atholhu, within the administrative Kaafu Atoll, Maldives. It has an area of about 1.80 hectares and is located at approximately 3°58′17″N, 73°30′23″E. The island sits in the South Malé Atoll region, with sandy shoreline, lagoon waters, and surrounding reef environment. It is approximately 25 km from Velana International Airport by straight-line distance.
