Makunufushi Island

Makunufushi is a very small island in Male Atholhu, within the administrative Kaafu Atoll, Maldives. It has an area of about 0.50 hectares and is located at approximately 3°55′04″N, 73°28′11″E. The island sits in the South Malé Atoll region, with compact shoreline, lagoon waters, and surrounding reef environment. It is approximately 31 km from Velana International Airport by straight-line distance.
