Maafushivaru Island

Maafushivaru is a small island in Ari Atholhu Dhekunuburi, within the administrative Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, Maldives. It has an area of about 3.00 hectares and is located at approximately 3°36′28″N, 72°54′01″E. The island has a South Ari Atoll setting with sandy shoreline, lagoon waters, and surrounding reef environment. It is approximately 95 km from Velana International Airport by straight-line distance.
