Maafushi (Dhaalu) Island

Maafushi, Dhaalu Atoll is a small island in Nilandhe Atholhu Dhekunuburi, within the administrative Dhaalu Atoll, Maldives. It has an area of about 11.00 hectares and is located at approximately 2°41′17″N, 72°51′33″E. The island has a southern Maldives setting with sandy shoreline, lagoon waters, and surrounding reef environment. It is approximately 183 km from Velana International Airport by straight-line distance.
