Kudafares and Fares Island

Kudafares and Fares are neighboring islands in Hahdhunmathi, within the administrative Laamu Atoll, Maldives. Kudafares has an area of about 1.40 hectares at approximately 1°47′48″N, 73°18′01″E, while Fares has an area of about 5.80 hectares at approximately 1°47′59″N, 73°18′03″E. The islands have a southern Maldives setting with sandy shoreline, lagoon waters, and surrounding reef environment. They are approximately 267–268 km from Velana International Airport by straight-line distance.
