Kelaa Island

Kelaa is a large island in Thiladhunmathi Uthuruburi, within the administrative Haa Alif Atoll, Maldives. It has an area of about 201.70 hectares, with recorded dimensions of about 3,060 metres by 1,040 metres, and is located at approximately 6°57′16″N, 73°12′58″E. The island has a far northern Maldives setting with long shoreline, lagoon waters, and reef surroundings. It is approximately 309 km from Velana International Airport by straight-line distance.
