Hoarafushi Island

Hoarafushi, listed in the island registry as Huvarafushi, is an island in Thiladhunmathi Uthuruburi, within the administrative Haa Alif Atoll, Maldives. It has an area of about 66.50 hectares and is located around 6°58′59″N, 72°53′41″E. The island has a far northern Maldives setting with long sandy shoreline, lagoon waters, and reef surroundings near the northern edge of the archipelago. It is approximately 318 km from Velana International Airport by straight-line distance.
