Giraavaru Island

Giraavaru is a small island in Male Atholhu, within the administrative Kaafu Atoll, Maldives. It has an area of about 3.00 hectares and is located at approximately 4°12′01″N, 73°24′46″E. The island sits in the North Malé Atoll area, with a compact coral-island setting, sandy shoreline, surrounding lagoon waters, and reef environment typical of the central Maldives. It is approximately 13 km from Velana International Airport by straight-line distance.
