Gaakoshibee Island

Gaakoshibee, also written Gaakoshinbi, is an island in Shaviyani Atoll, Maldives. Available public sources place it at approximately 6°17′15″N, 73°00′44″E, with an island size reported at about 16–18 hectares. The island has a far northern Maldives setting with sandy shoreline, lagoon waters, and reef surroundings. It is approximately 240 km from Velana International Airport by straight-line distance.
