Furanafushi Island

Furanafushi is an island in Male Atholhu, within the administrative Kaafu Atoll, Maldives. It has an area of about 11.80 hectares and is located at approximately 4°14′59″N, 73°32′44″E. The island sits in the North Malé Atoll area, with sandy shoreline, shallow lagoon waters, and central Maldives reef surroundings. It is approximately 7 km from Velana International Airport by straight-line distance.
