Reservation guarantee and deposits. The resort operates the Wavy Navy Kids Club, offering a programme of daily activities for younger guests, and childcare or babysitting services can be arranged for children under a certain age, subject to availability and an additional charge.
Cots, extra beds and family occupancy. Many villa categories are configured for two adults, with the option in selected room types to add a baby cot for an infant or one or more extra beds for children or additional adults, subject to each villa’s maximum occupancy and safety guidelines. In some family-focused categories, such as designated family beach villas or two-bedroom villas, configurations of up to four adults and two children under 12 years may be permitted. One child under 12 years old may, under typical brand policies, stay free of charge when sharing existing bedding with two paying adults, while breakfast or meal-plan supplements for that child are often charged at around 50% of the adult rate; however, inclusions and age limits vary by offer and market.
Child rates, facilities and restrictions. Extra-person, transfer and festive-meal supplements for children and teenagers are normally charged at reduced child or teen rates according to the age bands on your quotation. Special check-in instructions
Speedboat transfer required. Villa Nautica Paradise Island is reached by resort-arranged speedboat transfer only from Velana International Airport in Malé. After clearing Immigration and Customs, guests proceed to the arrivals hall, where resort representatives at the Villa Resorts counter (currently E10) greet you and assist with the short walk to the speedboat jetty. The shared speedboat journey across the North Malé Atoll lagoon takes around 20 minutes.
Operating hours, pricing and third-party boats. The resort’s airport launch operates throughout the day on a schedule coordinated with international flights, typically between early morning and late evening. Return transfer charges are payable in addition to the room rate unless clearly included in your package; recent examples published by partners quote around US$185 per adult and US$98 per child (under 12 years) for a roundtrip transfer, but exact prices, taxes and fuel surcharges are subject to change. For safety and security reasons, third‑party and privately chartered speedboats are not permitted to service the island; all guests must use transfers arranged or authorised by Villa Nautica.
Pre-arrival details. To secure your seats, the resort asks that full international arrival and departure flight details are provided at least 72 hours before arrival. Bookings made closer to arrival remain subject to transfer availability. Fees
A mandatory Tourism Green Tax of USD 12.00 per person, per night is charged for stays at Villa Nautica Paradise Island in line with Maldivian regulations, and this tax does not usually apply to children under 2 years of age.
Room, meal, transfer and activity prices are typically subject to a compulsory 10% service charge plus Tourism Goods and Services Tax of around 16%, so the final amount you pay will normally be higher than the base villa rate displayed before taxes and charges.

The speedboat journey takes approximately 20 minutes, and transfer fees are normally charged in addition to the villa rate, either collected directly at the property or bundled into some package holidays where this is clearly stated in the inclusions.
For stays including 24 December (Christmas Eve), a mandatory Christmas Eve gala dinner supplement is applied, with current example fees of about USD 260 per adult and USD 130 per child aged approximately 2–12 years according to partner fee listings.
For stays including 31 December (New Year’s Eve), a mandatory New Year’s Eve gala dinner supplement is also applied, with current example fees of about USD 350 per adult and USD 175 per child aged approximately 2–12 years, and these gala charges may either be built into the total room price for those nights or shown as separate mandatory amounts.
All mandatory charges, including Green Tax, service charge, Goods and Services Tax, compulsory transfer fees and festive gala dinner supplements, are payable directly to the resort or your package organiser and may change without prior notice, so the figures and policies on your own confirmation should always be treated as the most up to date.
Optional extras
When breakfast is not included in your chosen rate, some partners list an approximate buffet breakfast fee of around USD 30 per adult and about USD 25 per child, with exact prices and age bands set by the resort for your travel dates.
À la carte lunches and dinners, specialty or private dining experiences, premium or imported beverages, champagne, fine wines and extensive minibar consumption are normally treated as optional extras whenever they fall outside the inclusions of your selected meal plan.
Spa and wellness services at the on site spa, including massages, body treatments, facials and beauty rituals, are charged per treatment or per programme and are not included in standard room rates unless clearly specified as part of a package.
Motorised water sports, scuba diving, snorkelling excursions, sunset or dolphin cruises, sandbank picnics and other curated experiences are usually available at additional cost, with pricing varying by duration, equipment, destination and the size of your group.
Airport speedboat transfers are compulsory as described under mandatory fees, and details from travel partners show an airport shuttle fee of about USD 185 per adult and around USD 98 per child aged roughly 2–11 years when these transfers are not already included in the package price.
Extra person surcharges can apply when the number of occupants exceeds the standard occupancy of the selected villa, and while baby cots are often provided free of charge on request, rollaway or extra beds for older children or additional adults may carry nightly supplements that vary by season.

You need to know
Extra person charges may apply and can differ depending on the resort’s policy, the villa category, the meal plan purchased, the dates of stay and the ages of additional guests sharing the same accommodation.
Guests are generally required to present a valid government issued photo ID together with a credit card, debit card or suitable cash deposit at check in, and the resort may pre authorise a certain amount on the card to cover incidental expenses during the stay.
