Distance from Velana International Airport (Male’ international Airport) is about 60 Km and takes about 25 minutes to reach the Island by Seaplane. The Island is surrounded by white powdery, sandy beach and crystal clear water lagoon and house reef which is attractive for snorkeling and Diving with attractive diving points.

Transfers (seaplane). Safari Island is about 25 minutes by seaplane from Velana International Airport. Return transfer rates published by the resort: USD 400 net per adult and USD 200 per child. Seaplane arrivals are available between 06:00–15:15. Flight details must be provided 72 hours prior to arrival.

Guarantee & deposit. The resort notes reservations must be guaranteed with Mastercard or Visa, and states a deposit of the full amount will be charged to the credit card at the time of reservation.

Taxes/fees. The resort states a Green Tax of USD 12.00 per person per night is charged additional. Rates are also described as inclusive of service charge and GST in the resort’s policy page.

Important note. Importing alcohol into the Maldives is prohibited and will be confiscated on arrival.
