Fees
Taxes & service charges: Stays in the Maldives are generally subject to a 10% service charge and TGST (17%). Unless clearly shown as inclusive or net, these are added to the final bill.
Green Tax: For guesthouses on inhabited islands, the Green Tax is typically USD 6 per person per night for guests aged 2 years and above. Children under 2 years old are exempt. This is usually collected by the property for each payable night.

Transfers: Local-island stays are usually reached by scheduled speedboat, public ferry or private speedboat. Timings and pricing depend on your flight and are confirmed after booking.

Check-in / check-out: Standard check-in is usually from 14:00 and check-out by 12:00. Early or late requests depend on availability and may incur charges.
