Arrival & transfer. Equator Village is located on Gan Island (Addu Atoll). After you land at Gan International Airport, the resort is a short 5‑minute van ride away. An airport shuttle/transfer can be arranged by the property; please provide your arrival and departure details in advance.

Fees
At Equator Village, you should expect mandatory government taxes and resort fees on top of the base room rate, including the Maldives Green Tax and Tourism GST (TGST), plus any applicable service charges shown on your invoice.
Current national amendments indicate the Tourism GST rate increases from 16% to 17% effective 1 July 2025, and that the Green Tax for resorts is USD 12 per person, per night effective 1 January 2025, with children under 2 years exempt.
For transfers, guests typically travel from Malé (Velana International Airport) by domestic flight to Gan International Airport (GAN), followed by a short shuttle transfer to the resort; published partner fee details list an aeroplane transfer at about USD 386 return per adult and USD 238 return per child (ages 2–11), with an additional transfer-related fee listed for guests ages 12–17.
If your stay includes 24 December and/or 31 December, compulsory festive supplements may apply; published partner policy details list a Christmas Eve gala dinner at USD 40 per adult and USD 20 per child (2–11), and a New Year’s Eve gala dinner at USD 50 per adult and USD 25 per child (2–11).
